Terms and Conditions of Sale

These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter "T&Cs") aim to define the rights and obligations of ButtonBox Kingdom and any customer in connection with the online sale of limited edition, handcrafted button boxes and sim panels, via the website button-box-kingdom.com.

Article 1 – Seller's Identity

Sales made on the website button-box-kingdom.com are concluded by:

Article 2 – Products

The products offered are limited edition, handcrafted button boxes and sim panels.

• Some models are available in the catalog (standard models).
• Others are made to order or in very limited series, according to specific customer requests (components, layout, aesthetics, etc.).

Photos and descriptions are for illustrative purposes only; as each product is handcrafted, slight variations may exist without constituting a defect.

Article 3 – Price

Product prices are indicated in euros. As the sole proprietorship operates under the VAT exemption scheme, VAT is not applicable in accordance with Article 293 B of the CGI. Prices are therefore indicated with the mention: "VAT not applicable – Article 293 B of the CGI".

Delivery costs and, where applicable, customs duties or local taxes remain the responsibility of the customer and are specified during the order process.

Article 4 – Orders

The order is validated when the customer:

• confirms their cart;
• and proceeds with full payment of the price.

The customer must verify the accuracy of the information provided (contact details, delivery address, model choice, custom options if applicable). ButtonBox Kingdom cannot be held responsible for errors attributable to the customer (delay, inability to deliver, etc.). Acceptance of these T&Cs is mandatory to finalize the order.

Article 5 – Payment

Payments are made online through secure providers. Accepted payment methods include:

• Credit Card (via Stripe)
• PayPal
• Amazon Pay
• Google Pay

No payment by check, bank transfer, or installments is offered to date. The order is considered final only after payment confirmation by the provider.

Article 6 – Delivery

Products are shipped primarily via Mondial Relay or Colissimo, depending on the destination and chosen options.

• In-stock product: estimated shipping time of 48 business hours.
• Custom-made or out-of-stock product: the lead time may be longer; an estimated timeframe can be provided for informational purposes.

Delivery is possible in France and internationally. For shipments outside the European Union, potential customs duties or local taxes may apply and remain entirely the responsibility of the customer.

Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal

For standard models sold in the catalog and not customized, the consumer customer benefits from a 14-day right of withdrawal starting from the receipt of the product, in accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code.

This right does not apply to products:

• made to order;
• or in very limited series meeting specific customer requirements, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code.

To exercise their right of withdrawal, the customer must contact ButtonBox Kingdom within 14 days of receipt and return the product:

• in its original packaging;
• with the supplied USB cable;
• the manual;
• and the certificate of authenticity;

all in impeccable condition allowing resale as a new product.

In case of degradation, obvious signs of use, missing elements, or heavily damaged packaging, a depreciation may be applied to the refund, depending on the observed loss of value, in accordance with Article L221-23 of the Consumer Code.

Article 8 – Returns, Exchanges, and After-Sales Service

In case of a proven manufacturing defect, the customer may request:

• an exchange;
• a repair, when possible;
• or, failing that, a refund according to current legal regulations.

After-sales service (SAV) can be reached via email at buttonboxkingdom@gmail.com or via the website's contact form. ButtonBox Kingdom strives to respond to requests within 48 business hours, excluding holiday periods or cases of force majeure.

Article 9 – Warranties

Products benefit from:

• the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code);
• the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code).

Independent of these legal guarantees, ButtonBox Kingdom offers a 2-year commercial warranty from the date of delivery, covering functional defects under normal conditions of use.

As wood is a living material, its natural evolution (micro-cracks, variations in appearance due to time or environment, etc.) is not covered by the commercial warranty, provided it does not affect the product's functionality.

Any opening or disassembly of the casing by the customer or an unauthorized third party may lead to the exclusion of the commercial warranty, except for the exercise of legal guarantees. Similarly, using the product outside the recommended conditions (connection other than to a suitable computer USB port, use of an unsuitable cable, etc.) may exclude coverage under the commercial warranty.

Article 10 – Liability

Products are tested before shipment to ensure proper functioning. ButtonBox Kingdom cannot be held liable for damage resulting from:

• use not in accordance with instructions;
• product modification;
• connection to defective or unsuitable equipment;
• or, more broadly, any fault or negligence on the part of the customer.

In any event, ButtonBox Kingdom's liability is limited to direct damages suffered by the customer, excluding any indirect, intangible, or consequential damages (data loss, loss of opportunity, loss of operation, etc.), up to the amount of the disputed order, unless otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions.

Article 11 – Personal Data

Personal data collected during orders and website use is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on button-box-kingdom.com. This policy specifies the purposes of processing, user rights, and how to exercise these rights.

Article 12 – Intellectual Property

The designs of the casings, texts, images, logos, as well as all elements present on the website button-box-kingdom.com are protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, or use of these elements is strictly prohibited.

Article 13 – Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These T&Cs are subject to French law. In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, and subject to applicable mandatory rules, the competent courts will be those within the jurisdiction of the Caen Court of Appeal.
